But you might know me online as The Skulltress.
For over two decades, I’ve been revolutionizing the world of wigs and makeup. I began my journey at Central Saint Martins, where I studied Art & Design, before earning my degree in Costume, Wigs & Makeup for the Performing Arts at London College of Fashion.
I started my career in opera at the English National Opera, where I quickly rose through the ranks and went on to design for over 50 productions. Alongside this, I built a global following on Instagram as @the_wigs_and_makeup_manager, connecting with millions of people who share my passion for creativity.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with major brands including Disney, Morphe, Game of Thrones, and Urban Decay, contributed to Vogue, and worked on films such as Star Wars and Aladdin. My work has also extended across television and film, with projects like Bridgerton and Glow Up on BBC Two.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief in accessible makeup and wig education. I’m passionate about building a supportive community of artists and misfits—people who champion creativity, individuality, and each other’s journeys.

Creating a head wrap, taking measurements, making the wig block: everything you need to know to start creating your wig from scratch.
Materials, whipping and knotting
Let's get technical. In these sections, you'll learn how to start creating your wig base, from the materials to different techniques (whipping and knotting).
Creating the wig base/foundation
In these sections, we are joined by Lucile, a master wig maker for theatre and film to walk through every section providing step-by-step tutorials for every key piece of the wig foundation.
Hair prep & knotting the wig
This is the core of the course: we'll go through every section of the head, teaching you how to successfully knot your wig.
Blocking, storing and washing a wig
Learn how to safely store your wig, which products to use (shampoo and conditioner) and how to actually wash and condition your wig.
Wig hair products & dressing
Lastly, you'll learn which products are safe to use and recommended for wig hair, and we will dress the wig into an 18th Century Style!
